***Oct. 27, 2007: Naseeb Professionals Gathering (Eid Theme)***
IMPORTANT NOTE: I've moved the date of the dinner up to OCTOBER 27 to get more participation. Please let me know if you can attend. All other event details remain the same.

Salams and Ramadan Mubarak! (A)
Folks, in the hopes of continuing to build a social network within our local Muslim community among like-minded professionals, we will be having a Naseeb Professionals Gathering to take place at:
Panico's Restaurant (fine Italian cuisine)
103 Church Street
New Brunswick, NJ 08901
732-545-6100
www.panicosrestaurant.com
Here's a tried and tested venue that I have chosen for our gathering; it is where I had held our very successful, very much fun Feb. 3 gathering. Panico's is the epitome of class and sophistication. The restaurant is very good in terms of quality of food, service and atmosphere. It definitely won't disappoint and there is a decent selection of non-meat/poultry entrees for halal/zabihah-only eaters.
The prices may possibly be a little bit steep (target spending approx. $50-60 per person) but folks, I don't arrange these type of gatherings very often so no sweat, I hope. Insh'allah we can afford it as most of us are professionals anyway. Take a look at the dinner menu on the restaurant's site; hope you like the offerings.
This restaurant is conveniently located and accessible via car or train, from NYC, PA or anywhere within NJ; it is located in the heart of New Brunswick, NJ.
EVENT DATE & TIME:
Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 6:30pm sharp
DRESS CODE:
Semi-casual
RSVP by Friday, October 12, 2007 by indicating if you will be coming and who you plan to bring with you (if anyone at all) by letting me know in this JE, e-mailing me at my Naseeb e-mail, or preferably, e-mailing me at [email protected]
*No backing out last minute please* It is inconsiderate, rude and leaves a bad lasting impression. I would greatly appreciate it if you RSVP only if you are committed to attending.
Also note that I have to book a table for us and make all necessary arrangements given the exact number of people who will be attending hence it is very important that I get an EXACT head count.
I am aiming to gather a medium-sized crowd of approx. 25 people for this event insh'allah. The theme for this gathering will be related to Eid. Each person will need to bring a (preferably wrapped) generic gift ("generic" so that it can be used by men or women) worth $8-10 (doesn't have to be uber-costly) which we'll then each pick from at random.
Lastly, there will be a drawing for a surprise gift so folks, please be sure to bring plenty of business cards not just for networking purposes but for the drawing as well.
Please let me know if you have additional ideas, suggestions and/or comments. I'd love to hear from you :)
***Let's make this shindig happen. Thanks!***
