Obama


My brother says he's voting for Hillary. I was a bit surprised, but asked him why. His points were that Obama doesn't know what he's talking about when he says he'll change politics. It hasn't changed in the past 200+ years. Also, Obama doesn't have any experience with foreign affairs. He's naive. He'll eventually just become a puppet of his advisors like other politicians.

Now I know there are a lot of people on this site who support Obama. So how would you respond to these points?

Lol at the brain surgery comment...but being in the white house for 8 yrs and hearing about foreign affairs from her husband certainly does give her some experience in my opinion..having said that, I am an Obama supporter.

It is sad that the Muslim name has become so tarnished that Obama had to vehemently refuse that he was Muslim so many times.

I think what it really shows is that Obama is no different to Clinton or McCain.

Obama has also courted AIPAC, in fact Clinton and Obama receive money from the same sources.

I agree with your brother on the reasons why he doesn't support Obama, he's right. I know that Obama lacks experience with foreign affairs, and he is naive, but everyone starts off somewhere. He is no strings attached. Clinton and McCain all have such a strong past, that we need someone who is a "virgin"...some what that is.
