No Bravery - Song
There are children standing there,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
Tears drying on their face.
The army have been
In their villages.
Men are tortured,
Humiliated and deprived
Brothers lie in shallow graves.
Fathers are lost without a trace.
A nation blind to their disgrace,
Since they?ve been there.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in one?s eyes, anymore.
I Only see sadness.
Houses burnt beyond repair.
Houses put down forever.
The smell of death is in the air.
A woman weeping in despair says,
He has been here.
Tracer lighting up the sky.
It's another families' turn to die.
A child afraid to even cry out says,
He has been here.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in one?s eyes anymore.
I Only see sadness.
There are children standing there,
Arms outstretched into the sky,
With nothing to dream of,
Nothing to think of ,
With nothing to eat in their home
But no one asks the question: why?
Old men kneel and accept their fate.
Wives and daughters are
Deprived and kidnapped
Women are cut and raped.
A generation is drenched
In hate, anger and poverty,
I Only see sadness.
Arms outstretched into the sky,
Tears drying on their face.
The army have been
In their villages.
Men are tortured,
Humiliated and deprived
Brothers lie in shallow graves.
Fathers are lost without a trace.
A nation blind to their disgrace,
Since they?ve been there.
And I see no bravery,
No bravery in one?s eyes, anymore.
I Only see sadness.
Houses burnt beyond repair.
Houses put down forever.
The smell of death is in the air.
A woman weeping in despair says,
He has been here.
Tracer lighting up the sky.
It's another families' turn to die.
A child afraid to even cry out says,

And I see no bravery,
No bravery in one?s eyes anymore.
I Only see sadness.
There are children standing there,
