Hey Guys, Just wanted to clarify a few things about the Rock the Casbah event...it promises to be a good time, but the venue is small so it looks like we're likely to sell out by end of month. What we're doing now is selling tickets personally or having people mail checks following e-mail reservation. There is a facebook site for the event as well under the groups "YOUR DIL Boston." Check it out!

FYI...wanted to let you all know about the upcoming "Rock the Casbah" Event sponsored by YOUR DIL Boston yourdil.org). All proceeds will go to building schools for impoverished girls in the most neglected areas of Pakistan. It promises to be a fun event, complete with hookah, music, dancing, food, games, etc. The location is 325 Commonwealth Ave., Boston on Nov 2nd!!

yeah, i definitely requested the wrong person, now i'm sure she's worried she has a stalker, lol. bar results come out in november, i'm feeling really mixed- i want the results to come out so i can finally know but at the same time i'd rather live in blissful oblivion, lol. what kind of law do you do? immigration law can be fun, at least the appeals work- i mostly did appeal hearings of spousal sponsorship cases so it was always interesting. but i wouldn't want to do only immigration law, i really enjoy other practice areas as well. the firm i was working for in vancouver was a general practice law firm so i got to do a little bit of everything and i really liked that. lets see what i end up finding here. anyway, i think i've found you on facebook now, yay! lol

Hey! I don't think I got your friend's request! You might have gotten Shireen who was the Chapter head before me she moved to NY and I inherited the position. I am listed as Zee on facebook. Or you might have gotten the V.P for the main board in NY! I haven't done any immigration law but am def. interested in learning. When do bar results come out? the best thing about immigration is that its federal, so you don't need to take mulitple bars in case you move states. Ok well hopefull I'll see you :)

Z_x2 , I made a friend request for you on facebook or at least i think i did! I'm not sure what your real name is but if you're the VP of YourDilBoston, then i got the right person, lol. I have done quite a bit of immigration law, mostly appeal hearings, so the Immigration discussion should be interesting.
