on my boxter, i had a set of goodyears. i had them changed to bridgestones cuz the goodyears were almost worn out when i got the car and the Bridges turned out to be crap, ive had michelins on my car for a few months now, and i can defenitley tell the diff. smoother ride, w/ less howling sounds from the cement freeways here in socal. better traction on dry/wet conditions, and maybe its just me, but it tends to corner better now. i guess the side walls are stiffer or something.

What are you driving? Are you looking for winter tires?

What your looking for are "run flat" tires. Goodyear, Bridgestone , Continental and a few others make them. However youll have to make sure they are available in the size for your car. They are also very pricey too..

If you want cheap insurance and dont want to deal with a spare tire, keep a can of fix a flat around.
