The snow just keeps coming. Check out the totals below at Taos, Sipapu, Durango Mountain and Wolf Creek! New snow totals in this report are from Weds. morning. Storm totals are since Monday night.

From new chairs at Santa Fe and Wolf Creek to more snow parks to new terrain at a number of other areas, there is plenty new at your favorite snow sports area for the 2006-2007 season. Click here to check all that's new and improved.
Sandia Peak: Opening date scheduled for mid-December.
Santa Fe: Opening date postponed. Will open when natural snowfall and snowmaking allow.
Taos Ski Valley: 5 New. 7 Storm. 7 New This Week. 18 Inch Base. P/PP/MG surface conditions. 4/12 lifts running. 3/110 trails open. Lifts 1, 3 and the Ruegglie chair all running. The beginner terrain and Powderhorn are open with more terrain expected to open soon. Through Dec. 15, tickets are $25 per day for skiers eighteen and up. Teens 13 to 17 are only $20, kids 7-12 are $15 and children six and under still ski free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Angel Fire: Scheduled opening date is December 15.
Pajarito: Opening date TBD.
Red River: NR New. 0 Storm. 3 New This Week. 18 Inch Base. P/PP/MG surface conditions. 0/7 lifts running. 0/57 runs. Will re-open this weekend. Everything is half price next weekend.
Sipapu: 8 New. 9 Storm. 9 New This Week. 14 Inch Base. PP/MG surface conditions. 0/4 lifts running. 0/31 trails open. Tix are $10. Will re-open this coming weekend with at least lift #2 servicing two runs ( Lower Thumper and Practice Slope). They also also have a small terrain park open. Lift #2 has a vertical drop of 100' and is 500' long.
Ski Apache: 0 New. 0 Storm. 0 New This Week. 6 Inch Base. PP/MG surface conditions. 2/4 lifts running. 2 trails open (Bunny & Easy Street). Making snow nightly and more terrain expected to open soon.
Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory):
6 New. 18 Storm. 18 New This Week. 21 Base. Opening day is delayed until Saturday, December 2nd. The official Opening Day for the 2006-07 winter season will be Sunday, December 3rd. Benefit Day offers $10 lift tickets for children and $15 lift tickets for adults with all proceeds from the event going to a local non-profit organization. This year's benefactor is the newly formed Durango Winter Sports Foundation. Benefit Day tickets are available through the Winter Sports Foundation. On opening weekend, terrain on the front side of the mountain should be open with the back side to open when more snow falls.
Wolf Creek: 18 New. 34 Storm. 34 New This Week. 57-61 Inch Base. P/PP/MG surface conditions. 5/7 lifts running. 76/77 trails open (1500 acres are available, which is 95% of the mountain). Montezuma Bowl, Alberta Face and the Waterfall area are open. Early season conditions do exist, so watch for obstacles, especially in the trees! Lift tickets are now $46 for Adults and $25 for Children and Seniors. .
Silverton Mountain: 20 New. 20 Storm. 20 New This Week. 42-59 Inch Base. P/PP surface conditions. 1/1 lift running. 16 trails open. More terrain to open each day of the week. Good coverage on the upper mtn, with thin snow on the lower mtn. Must have avalanche beacon, shovel and probe to ride (rentals available at mtn). Unguided skiing and boarding available through mid-January.
Telluride Resort: 10 New. 15 Storm. 15 New This Week. 29 Inch Base. P/PP/MG surface conditions. 6/16 lifts running. 4/84 trails open. They have one run top to bottom on lift 4 and the Meadows is open. Snowmaking continues.
Valles Caldera National Preserve: Opening date TBD.
Enchanted Forest XC: Opening date TBD.

And finally, it looks like a wetter than normal winter may be in store for New Mexico. El Ni?o conditions, meaning higher than normal ocean temperatures in the central Pacific. Previous El Nino events have given New Mexico a 120-precent or more moisture winter. The first official NOAA winter forecast was issued October 10 and the second one issued October 19 and the final one issued Nov. 16 and they all show much warmer and wetter winter through March... as much as 33-percent wetter than normal. So, lots are asking... where is El Nino? Forecasters say it's forming the Pacific and should start to impact New Mexico sometime in December.
