I'm coming to the end of my phone contract and looking for a new one with at least 400 Cross Network minutes on a 12 month contract. I've noticed that 'three' have many offers on and wondering if anyone is on their network. (UK only)

I used to have a 'three' phone before but i had problems with it in that the other side often did not hear me. I don't know if it was a handset or network problem.

They may have improved since so grateful for your opinion!

labs, thanks for that. i'm going to go for a contract phone. can't bear the thought of buying vouchers when i want to talk!

there are some 3 contracts with 12 month free line rental so hope to go on one of them...

i've been on 3 (pay as you go) for 2 years.. it works fine, but i think pay as you go may be the wrong option..! compare tariffs and find out the most cost effective provider for each type of call (voice/ video etc.) .. the annoying thing about pay as you go with 3 is having to buy separate vouchers/ top ups depending on whether you're out of voice minutes or text ones :(

hey begs.. long time! i've done two cashback ones already..chatterbox and phonebox direct..both which have been reliable. have u had experience with these bogus ones?

Beware of some of these bogus companies that claim to give your money back after x number of months etc..it can become quite problematic to get your money back..go with someone reputable like carephone warehouse, the link etc..

I think it depends on the company as well.

i thought UK had the highest mobile phone charges!

I think Canada has the worst Cell plan rates and companies. They run a Olagopoly over here and everyone is getting screwed.

Bell Canada is charging $8.95 per month for just system access and then another $10 per month just to get Call Display and Basic Voice mail. Other companies offer better plans and cheaper price, but when you are locked in it sucks...
