Mirza sahib
One day Ghalib was seen praying at the local Masjid. An ardent follower of his, happened to pass by and was amazed at what he saw. Mirza Ghalib prostrate before God at the Masjid?? He immediately ran to the local booze shop and bought a bottle. He came running back and started waving the bottle from outside the Masjid to get Mirza sahib's attention. On seeing the madly waving supporter, Mirza sahib immediately started leaving the masjid. The gentleman sitting next to him asked:
"Mirza sahib, kahaan chale, aap nay to sirf Sunnaten parhee hain, Farz to rehtay hain."
Mirza replied: "Tum parh lo. Meri to duaa qubool ho gayee"
"Mirza sahib, kahaan chale, aap nay to sirf Sunnaten parhee hain, Farz to rehtay hain."
Mirza replied: "Tum parh lo. Meri to duaa qubool ho gayee"

I simply loved the part....jub Ghalib saab ko wazeefe ke paise milte haiN tou dukaandaar ka udhar chukta karte haiN aur baqi ki sharaab khareed lete haiN. Bari shan se ghar aate haiN. Peeche ek mazdoor aur do gadhe jin par sharab ke crates laday haiN. Naukar se kehte haiN zara dhiyan se, kaanch ka samaan hai.
Begum ko patah chalta hai to sir pakaR leti haiN aur kehti haiN, Mirza ghar meiN khanay ko nahiN aur tum sab paisoN ki sharab uTha laye. Mirza Saab farmate haiN, Begum upar wale ne khanay ka, rizq ka waada kya hai. Peenay ki koi baat nahiN ki hai. Uss ka intezaam hum khud kar laye haiN.......Lol
