So, what do you guys think of the Michael Vick's dog fighting incident? Is this an inhumane crime? or a typical case of a get him, there's a black guy making tons of money? or juz another media stint blowing things out of proportion?

Portis said whatever Vick does in the privacy of his own home is his business and everyone should stop this witch hunt against such a positive role model (Michael Vick). He then said if you wanna go see a dog fight in his hometown in Mississippi, he knows a lot of back roads where that shyt is happening on the regular.

Put it this way, he won the JUST SHUT UP AWARD on Mike and Mike in the Morning. He's an idiot.

haha i knw...the deadskins issued an apology after tht and issued a statement tht portis never been thoz fights ... another fine example tht there r more dumbskulls in the nfl than the nba.

i heard one of his family member runs the operations and that people have seen vick in and out of his home. Given the benefit of doubt, that he has never been to tht place, i am pretty sure he ATLEAST knows about the fights. And for juz tht alone, action should be taken against him. Vick used to be my most excitin QB in the league, nowi guess i'll have to change it to VY(unless he is not hit by the madden curse).

how abt Clinton Portis's comments!?! : )

Its a felony in Florida and ever idication is that he was involved and very much aware of the dog fights. He just sold the jacksonville home (used for dog fights) for less then half of its market value.

If he is convicted some serious punishment should come his way !!

As a dog owner, I think if he's found guilty, he should be sent to jail and never be allowed to play in the NFL again!
