Lukemia Child, Plz Help

Dear Friends,

It is with some hesitance that I ask this favor, but considering the misfortune we are experiencing in my family, I am "going out on a limb" so to speak.
For this request I am hoping for your sympathy.
It is for my 4 yr old nephew Rence Bretren Baltazar that I am seeking assistance.
He was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia and is in need of a Bone Marrow
Transplant (BMT) the soonest. Sad to say, the financial amount involved for this
kind of treatment is beyond any average man's meager income, around $100K.

My younger brother, Rodrigo, his father, has been working in the Middle East as a draftsman
for the past 10 years, his wife, also working there but as a Human Resource assistant at that country's premier Hospital. Along with them, are their 2 sons. We have been in constant contact with each other after recieving the sad news, giving me regular updates and sending whatever asistance I can.

A couple of days ago I recieved a call about the heartbreaking news of the
current status of his young son.
A couple of months before, they filed for financial assistance from the Saudi government. After the long anguish of waiting for several weeks and appealing to the powers that be in the country, they were approved. But by that time this poor boy's condition had already deteriorated considerably.
We were thankful, because everything had been prepared for his treatment and was
about to start in a matter of days.
After a few weeks regretably, due to some political red tape, they were notified that his son was deemed unworthy of the medical assistance by matter of his nationality and was denied!!!
At this time they are pretty much desperate and pressed for time. They are hurriedly making preparations to ready him and fly back to the Philippines to try to find another way.
His friends and colleagues at the local CFC chapter are also organizing some fundraising activities and gathering whatever financial aid they can find.
It is for this reason I am appealing to you my dear Friends, to try also to gather some financial support.
I ask understanding from you, for appearing thick skinned in asking this favor.

I do not wish to cause you any inconvenience especially to my colleagues who are
experiencing some financial difficulties themselves, so please give only what you
can spare. I would also like to ask for prayers for the young boy.
I have attached a photo of my nephew, and the medical report of his condition so you'll know this is for a good cause.

To facilitate the collection I have opened a savings account at Bank of America in my name, where all the proceeds can be deposited. the account number is:

488 00622 4648

But if you wish to send a check, please have written to me and mail them to the
following address:

9025 SW Cortland Ln
Tigard, OR 97224

Please feel free to forward this message around to people who you think can help

I can only give you my sincerest thanks and gratitude

God Bless

Sincerely,

Ronaldo Baltazar
