Long search for happiness

Prayer is very special, as it represents the relation between the individual and his creator, the pivot of life. Indeed, as Muslims, we should not fear anyone or anything except Allah the Almighty, for no one has might of power except Him. To pursue knowledge in all its forms and never stop, for learning is a lifelong journey.
As long as we keep trying to learn and act on what we learn, we should not fear or worry about our past mistakes and errors. As human beings, we are always doing and saying the wrong things.
Allah the Most Merciful loves it when we turn to Him seeking forgiveness, and He is quick to forgive. So, if you feel that you may have made mistakes in your Prayer, or anything else for that matter, then turn to Him alone and seek His forgiveness and ask for His guidance, keeping in mind that Allah is Kind, Merciful, and Forgiving, and He loves us more than we love ourselves.
The steps to perform Prayer are not difficult, and here is an easy guide to help you fix anything that may be lacking in your Prayers right now. The essential matter of Prayer is the Sincerity of the Heart and the Desire for that person to live according to the way that Allah has prescribed for His Creation.
Everything that Allah ordered us to do is good for us and everything He prohibited is harmful to us. It is just as simple as that. So we should trust in Him, follow His way and obey His Prophet (peace be upon him).
Look at your Prayer as a lifebelt or a lifeline that connects you, five times a day, to the reality, to the source of peace, to the way to find your real self, and improve. The Prophet (peace be upon him) told us that Prayer keeps us away from sin. That doesn't mean we will never make mistakes, but it means that Prayer helps our hearts to be sensitive to what is right and wrong, and when we say or do something wrong, we feel it and have the desire to redress it and seek forgiveness. Again, when we do something right, our hearts feel at peace, and we experience a sense of lightness and tranquility?something very special, called happiness. People search for happiness in life in many, often bizarre, ways, but they rarely find it. Indeed, happiness is found within the heart through obeying and loving the Almighty and being close to Him.
The better our Prayer is, the nicer, kinder, and more forgiving we should be. Prayer breeds piety in the heart of the individual, and this is the measuring stick by which we can know if our Prayers are effective or not. When you finish your Prayer, you should feel relaxed and light. Anger and resentment should disappear. It should be easy for good words and righteous actions to proceed from you.
If this is not happening, then look within your heart and examine your relation with Allah. Do you turn to Him when you feel bad and distressed? Do you always want him to be pleased with you? Do you look forward to being close to Him in Paradise? Are evil things hateful to you? Work on these things and you will be a successful person in this life and the next?successful meaning calm and confident, at peace, and close to Allah the Almighty.
The fact that we are concerned about our Prayer is a sign that you are a good Muslim, in sha? Allah.
Masha? Allah, may Allah keep us firm and strong on His straight path.
