Ok, I just wrote this one. Will work on it more later but thought I'd post what I have so far.

Uth kar chal paray hum
Kahan aur kidhar, kuch khabar na thee

Doondlay raaste nazar aaye
Chirag kab bhuja, kuch khabar na thee

Peron par panchiyon ke geet sunay
Kab pattay bikharay, kuch khabar na thee

Pal pal tumhari yaad sataati rahi
Kab bichare tum, kuch khabar na thee

Jaate huway sab laut aate hai
Na lautoge tum, kuch khabar na thee

Zindagi dushwar to hoti hi hai
Bin tumhare bematlab hogi, kuch khabar na thee

Chalte chalte, umeed ki kiran nazar to aayee
Us kiran ko gher lenge, kuch khabar na thee

Yeh dard bhari duniya phir se yoonhi
Khoobsurat ho jaayegi, kuch khabar na thee.

YEs Sahir Ludhianvi is one of my fav poets.

"Kabhi Kabhi" ke gaane bhi Sahir Ludhianvi ke thai. Issi par ek aur nazm yaad aa gayee Sahir ki. It goes something like...

Mujhe itni mohabbat nah do dostoN
Keh mere kal ki khatir kuch nah bachay
Aaj ka pyar bacaha kar rakho
Mere kal ki khatir
Kal - jo gumnaam hai
Kal - jo sunsaan hai
Kal - jo anjaan hai

hehehe...aisi kya baat hai ji?
Hum pehle shaiyarana to nahi hai nahi aakhri honge...this reminds of the Kabhi Kabhi song.

Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon
Pal do pal meri kahani hai
Pal do pal meri hasti hai
Pal do pal meri jawaani hai

Mujhse pehle kitne shayar
Aaye aur aakar chale gaye
Mujhse baithar kehne walay
Tumse baithar sunne walay

Mujhay bhi kafi cheezon ki khabar na thee...perhaps i should start watching the news/tv again :)

hmmmm let me thin....mujhai khaber na thee thats y i thought to watch PTV news at nine.......GEo, CNN, ARY, BBC, Fox news and .....................
