*I have no clue who the poet is as I heard this song in a very old movies and I know I'm missing on SHAIR..forgive me..lol*

Yeah its an old song sung by Jagjit Singh. I remember the movie "Ahista ahista". An almost flop movie of Padmini Kohlapur's very early days. But yes, the song itself is excellent as well as the shayeri. Dont know the name of the shair though.
