How many of you have read her books & what did you think of them? (Kartography, Broken Verses, Salt & Saffron, In the City by the Sea)

I think she's an exceptional author. She has a way of making words jump off the page and evoke such emotion. I haven't been able to find In the City by the Sea, but I've read the other three novels. I have to say that Broken Verses was my favorite, closely followed by Kartography.

I'm still on the lookout for In the City By the Sea. I'm hoping it's as wonderful as the rest.

read kartography - good story about growing up in karachi, however way overboard with the love story

i read broken verses and kartography....i really liked both of them.

I know a lot of people think she is over rated but i really like her writing. I've read all her books and particularly liked Salt & Saffron and Broken verses.

yeah, I wouldn't really recommend Salt & Saffron, but Broken Verses just left me speechless. I love her vivid metaphors.

I tried reading City by the Sea and left it in the middle. I am not fond of her writing.

I read Salt & Saffron. OK, correction...i tried reading it. I found it boring. Sorry. I know there is a past VE in this village that discussed this. The naseeber reviews were mixed.
