KitaaboN meiN basi khushbu ki maanind saaNs saakim thi
Bohot se ankahay lafzoN se tasweeraiN banatay thai
ParindoN ke paroN par nazm likh kar
Dur ki jheeloN meiN basne wale logoN ko sunate thai
Jo hum se dur thai lekin hamare paas rehte thai

Naye din ki musafat jub kiran ke sath aangan meiN utarti thi
Tou hum kehte "Ammi titlyoN ke par bohot he khoobsurat haiN"

HamaiN maathe pe bosa do keh hum ko titlyoN ke, jugnouN ke des jaana hai
hamaiN roshni ke jugnu, rangoN ki titlyaaN awaaz deti haiN

On the contrary I have a memory as sharp as an elephant. That too is not good because of that "ghisa pitta" sher:

OH mere ALLAH horizon g ka memory system itna sharp ap kar dain kai bas....Allah he is worried and do you know we cant see his disturbed state after all he is a most demanding or demanded guy (hmm girls ..ok let me flatter cadburrys chocolaty guy) at naseeb thats why now a days entertaining loads of mails.....:P

ooohhh i realise horizon g why you are looking worried and disturbed..i realise...i know ...but its a natural phenomenon...ahh age factor is dominant ....ahhhh ooooh horizon g it happens at this age "short term memory syndrome"....dont worry I am here always to help you out and to recall your memory...so no more worries and plz dont think you have "short term memory syndrome" it hurts me....so keep smiling....cheers :D

Still I thought better to explain as some are unfamiliar with the meaning and some give new meanings to the word whereas some suffer from selective short term memory syndrome:)

And oh... Mohabbat means love

Otherwise shikan can also mean broken or cracked as well as twist

LOL, yes - since I am permenently 29 although some would say that too is umm pushing it

unless one has access to some very expensive - plastic surgery :)

it is very soothing ......

Although, I suppose it is the lament of every person beyond a certain age
