I am a Ron Paul person but there is news of a joint ticket.

Who would accept the VP nomination and who would accept the P nomination? And would the country be open to such a change - woman and African-American in the highest offices of the land?

McCain is easier to reign in by the establishment (military, industrial, finance, church, and etc) and the policies can be disastrous but would be consistent. The other two are young and thus can proove stubborn.

Yes, at least he did not consider a second term, and kept his opinions to himself. Had he gone against his C I C, he could have been a front runner and not McCain. What would most people do to be President of USA?

Foreign policy specially when a country is at "war" mostly goes to the hawks. Would be tough for anyone to be a Secretary of State and not be influenced by labels such as unpatriotic, etc. Which is why military personnel do not often make good heads of state, they bow to higher authority.

It would have been nice if Powell had the bal*s to stand up and say that.

I never said climate change wasn't possible, I said Al Gore has been spouting nonsense about climate change.

I dont know why Colin Powell elected out of Bush 2nd term? The problem with military personnel is that even high level military commanders are good at obeying orders, not giving them. They do not question higher authority.

I gave up on Al Gore after he started promoting nonsense about climate change, and Colin Powell may be a military man but doesn't have the stomach for a fight against the Israel lobby.

Yes to "neither Clinton nor Obama..."

The constitution of USA has some immortal truths maybe even from the Koran.

Would have preferred an Al Gore Vs Colin Powell fight but both stayed out of it.

A lack of experience can be overcome by promoting sound constitutionally based policies.

Clinton and Obama have neither the experience nor the policies.

There age is median. However, it is their inexperience in public life. Neither has been a State Gov or served for long in senate.
