All application packets for teaching positions should include: a cover letter stipulating the position sought, resume, photocopy of NJ certificate, photocopy of college transcripts, statement of highly qualified status and a lesson plan.

Teaneck is a diverse suburban community located five miles from New York City with a student population of 4,300. The school district is seeking innovative individuals committed to excellence to join our staff of dedicated professionals. We are a district where the needs of individual students, as well as staff, are stressed.

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF VACANCIES

INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF VACANCIES
POSITION: FRENCH
Middle School French 7/8
High School French 1 & 2


NJ French certification required.


POSITION: CHILD STUDY TEAM POSITION
LDT/C - experience in assessment and evaluation. Knowledge of learning strategies and techniques to accommodate diverse learners. CST experience preferred. NJ certification required.

POSITION: LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS
English - Experience preferred. NJ English certification required.

High School - 11th grade - college prep and honors
Middle School - 7th grade - knowledge of literature-based programs, writing process and interdisciplinary approaches


Special Education

6th grade In-Class Support - Language Arts, Social Studies, Science.

NJ Teacher of Handicapped or Students with Disabilities certification required.


Qualified candidates must possess NJ certification and have strong collaborative planning skills, commitment to multicultural and developmental education, and a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with diverse populations.
