----------------------------------- ------------------------------Salam !
Dear All, on the heels of a successful dinner gathering at Makeda Ethiopian Restaurant in New Brunswick, NJ, I would like to extend an invitation to you to join me this time for some amazing Persian cuisine!
Ravagh Persian Grill (Persian/Iranian cuisine)
11 East 30th Street (5th Ave. at 30th St.)
New York, NY 10016
212-696-0300 www.ravaghrestaurant.com
I have been to this venue many times but not yet in a group setting so this shall be a first gathering for us as a group at this restaurant. Ravagh serves halal meat. Please check out their online menu to get a flavor for the type of food that is served there.
Note that beyond a certain head count, they will have a fixed menu for us. The prices are in the medium $ range for Manhattan; I would approximate spending in the vicinity of $50 (plus tax and gratuity) each considering sodas, appetizers, entrees, dessert and tea/coffee. We will split the entire bill by the total number of attendees and then each attendee will be responsible for paying his/her own share with cash or credit card.
This restaurant is conveniently located and accessible via car or train; it is located just a few blocks from New York Penn Station.
EVENT DATE & TIME:
Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 1:00pm sharp
DRESS CODE:
Business casual/semi-formal
Kindly RSVP by Tuesday, January 22, 2008 and indicate if you will be attending and who you plan to bring with you (if anyone at all) by letting me know in this JE or e-mailing me at my Naseeb e-mail; you may also reach me directly at [email protected]
*No backing out last minute* It is inconsiderate and rude no matter what your excuse. Please note that I have to book a table for the EXACT number of people who will be attending hence it is very important that I get an accurate head count. Kindly also be mindful of the RSVP date; I cannot stretch the head count past that date.
As with most of my events, I will hold a raffle for a surprise gift. Kindly bring plenty of business cards not just for the raffle but for networking purposes as well. Thanks and I eagerly look forward to having you over at Ravagh insh?allah.
