Jaco Pastorius, US Guitarist (1951-1987)

John Francis Anthony "Jaco" Pastorius III (1951?1987) was an American jazz musician and composer widely acknowledged for his skills on the bass guitar, as well as his command of varied musical styles including jazz, jazz fusion, funk, and jazz-funk. He is also regarded as one of the most skilled and influential bass guitar players of all time.

Ok sis, when I get some time I will make a better effort to spread the information and energy about this wonderful form of music.

I'm assuming that the villagers like and know jazz. Aww you mean the villagers do not know or do not know that there're different types of jazz. The classy from the very early days with Louis Armstrong, Gillepsie...then other types created later in the late 60s early 70s which are smooth jazz and jazz fusion, jazz funk etc. Well Jam, i rely on you to post a couple of JEs on the history of JAZZ. I've noticed they aren't there. Those entries will be meaningful for the villagers.

Well I am not a paying member. :) Hmmmm, most of the people on here wouldn't know the people you mentioned. 80's pop yes but jazz I think is more eclectic. I am lucky you understand it. :)

Jam, you're a premium member. Perhaps you can nmail the villagers on here and let them know that we have great choice of music. The village would be livelier if there's more interaction. Also do invite your friends Naseebers to join the village.

Jam, i have a good collection of cds and tapes. Today's selection is a tinny portion. Once my dad told me that i listen more world music than any other woman he knows around him! Back in the days my dad was a huge fan of jazz.

Another great choice sis!!! Man you are top notch when it comes to music. I wish we had more people like you around.
