The most convenient rink would be either the one in DC or the one @ Pentagon and we did one last winter, feb or so had 20-25 of the usual suspects :)

Noor, that wasn't my point. I wasn't putting you down, jaanu. I was just saying that if the point of the meeting is a 'social', then the environment should encourage that. Those 3 selections don't. And the statement referring to brown folks was sarcasm (there was a famous paintball case in VA).

nome- We've done several socials in the past and wanted to do something a little different this time, you're more than welcome to join us.

However, I don't agree with "50 brown people at an Ice skating ring isn't cuttin' it. Neither is attending a wizards game. And for you folks........... PAINTBALL IS A NO NO!" - Why is paintball a "no no" for us "brown people"? I understand that you've done some of these activities with your other friends, but no need to put down others of us here would like to try this some of these activities.

Well ice skating is what I'm getting as the majority. I'll wait until the end of the day for any other suggestions. If nothing new pops up then I'll start looking for a place to go ice skating. :)
