HYDER kon tha jo AABAAD hua/kara?

Does anyone know if there was a person by name Hyder, the city is named after?

My guess was Hyder Ali, but he was from Mysore( a different city in India), he was the father of Tipu Sultan.

Any idea/knowledge about who Hyder was?

No, but thats cute though! its just another name for Ali bin Abu Talib. Hyder is a masculine name. The Hyder Begum story is also widely believed, but she herself was named for Ali bin Abu Talib. It was all during the Quli Qutb dynasty.
