Mahr is the gift/money a husband gives to his new bride.
however there are family who ask for alot of money others accept less expensive mahr. so how much do you expect your fiance to pay for ur mahr?

also to solve the problem for unemployment, they made exams so hard. it's so stupid, they don't know how to solve problem, they are solving the problem by creating another problem.
now as far as wakeel for a virgin or bride, as far as I know it's shar3an matloob for a girl or woman regardless of if she has been married or not. on the other side of the coin talking legalities, a woman could be her own wakeel when she gets married.
yes it is ya masrawya.. it's gawaz mo3taraf beeh (in any muslim country not here). gheir mosta7ab.. but it's a gawaz like any other gawaz..
a contract between a man an a woman 3ala sonnat Allah wa rasuluh (PBAH).
i think many people find marriage stress because of all these things add to it such are wedding, buying a house, furniture, mahr, jewelry..etc. while in fact marriage in Islam can be more simple than that.
it's sad when you start pricing things when it comes to weddings.. especially in Egypt.
