Hezbollah has Grown Stronger

Hezbollah Secretary-General, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, has said that his organization has grown stronger while Israel has weakened.

"The resistance today is stronger than before and Israel is weaker,'' Nasrallah said Thursday during the opening of an agricultural fair in Beirut organized by Hezbollah's construction group, Jihad al-Bina.

Nasrallah, who was not present, addressed hundreds of supporters attending the fair via a giant screen.

"We don't want war with anyone, but at the same time, we will not allow anyone to attack our villages, people and country,'' Nasrallah affirmed.

His comments came ahead of war games the Zionist regime is to launch near Lebanon's border, which will be the largest Israeli war game since the month-long attack it carried out on Lebanon last year.
Nasrallah also warned that no one will be allowed to 'stain Lebanon's lands, which will not be a land for Israeli occupation or US military bases'.

He was referring to a report published by Lebanon's daily As-Safir last month suggesting Washington proposed a treaty with Lebanon that would make it a strategic partner and lead to the creation of US bases in the country. The report was later denied by the Lebanese government.
