HELP! Nose-piercing trouble!

Salaam/Hi Girls!

Does anyone have any remedies for the ever-dreaded post-nose piercing bubble? I've tried rubbing alcohol, buteine (sp?), neem oil, and some other natural stuff without any luck. This warm weather is not helping either!

ANY suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time to respond, ladies! I was thankful to discover something that works really well. (Sumera, you might want to keep this in mind in case you ever need it.) If you dissolve sea salt in very warm water and apply it using a cottonball four times a day, the bubble actually goes away within a week. :)

Okay never had my nose-pierced. In fact don't know anyone that has. But, it just sounds like keeping that area clean with rubbing alcohol or witch-hazel should do the trick. I do know that make sure you twist the ring/stud every once in a while so it doesn't get "stuck" in one place. Topical antibiotics are pretty good to use. Well, I've pretty much repeated what has already been said. Hope it helps.

OUch Sumera...doesn't taking the stud and putting it back in hurt.

I got the same thing a few years ago when I got my nose pierced. I just bought some rubbing alcohol from Target and applied it 5-6 times a day. Also, its very important that you put rubbing alcohol on your nose stud once a day atleast. Also, when I took a shower, I took the nose stud out. But just be careful, don't take the nose stud out for more than 15-20 minutes. Good luck!

is it an infection? can't you put some anti-biotic on it? maybe neosporin or burn cream? i dunno... maybe something to take the swelling away? sorry! just offering some humble suggestions... good luck!

I changed the word to 'bubble'.....I've heard that many people get one next to (or around) their nose piercing..........Just wondering how to get rid of it!

I checked the internet and many people suggest applying a sea salt solution using a warm compress.

I have my nose pierced but I don't know what post-nose pimple is! Sorry!
