man, am i the only one that didn't like it ? ok here are some of my comments/complaints:

1. fred & george's witty banter was gone.
2. certain scenes never happened as described in the book: dumbledor's escape, harry's punishment with umbridge, harry & dudley's encounter with the dementors and phineas nigeles' (sp) comment on how dumbledore has style, (in the movie kingsly shacklebolt makes this comment).
3. knowles didn't screen write this movie like the first four films.
4. kreacher's only scene was way too short and his significance minimized.

i did find some of the special effects to be way cool. but the movie was too choppy and there was no flow to the story line. it was like they made the movie only for people who read the book and those people could thus fill in the blanks.

ok, enough whining on my part.

i really liked movie 3. it was directed by alfonso cuar?n and i hope he does the last two with knowles.

so have any of you seen movie 5 ? and what did you think ?

I really enjoyed it. I want to re-read all of them from beginning to end sometime - now that I know the whole story I think it would be interesting to look at the characters again from that light.

a little sad, mostly sad. but pleasantly so.

I'm still waiting for my copy from Amazon.com!! Afraid to go to a book store and see it sitting there as I have already paid for my amazon copy! Sucks!!! So dying to read it!!

I just finished reading it and have now dipped into some reviews. I am so glad I read it before reading the hype! I still maintain that books 1-3 were the best!
