hair curling tools for a hair-care dummy
Hi.
I have stubbornly straight, medium (not fine or coarse) hair and I want to be able to easily add some curls or waves sometimes.
Does anyone have any recommendations for curling irons? Specifically: width, brand, type, etc
Curlers? Which type do you recommend?
Which products?
I lack all hair styling skills and have very little patience with my hair. So, I need "hair appliances/tools for dummies".

"Stubbornly straight"....hmmm...well I'll have to be honest with you I've never used curling irons of any sort...but I do remember back in high school, I would braid the heck out of my hair the night before. Braiding my slightly damp (with a touch of mousse) hair into maybe 10 little braids all over. It actually worked very nicely! hope that helps! :)
