Georgetown v. Cornell

Hey guys,

A friend asked me to help him out, and I'm not sure where i come down..so I ask you--

Between Georgetown and Cornell, what do you think is the better school to go to?

Georgetown is in dc, Cornell is in Ithaca (boonieville)..but Cornell is ranked higher with smaller classes--what would you do? what are important considerations to think about when choosing the law school to go to?

considerations include:

a) financial (tuition / scholarship or tuition reimbursement / cost of living in the city / etc);

b) lawschool (not undergrad) ranking;

c) professors who teach the specific area of law you are interested in;

d) joint-programs within the university (i.e.: joint MBA/JD or MPH/JD or MPP/JD) if you're interested, or joint programs with neighboring universities;

e) class-size;

f) location (i.e.: can you handle the cold for 3 years)...

...in no particular order.

Financial aspects might play a big role. How much would it cost to attend either school? What is the cost of living in each area? I don't know about Ithaca, but rent in D.C. can be pretty steep.
