First Order of Business: A Better Eid Namaaz Arrangment for South Jersey
I've noticed that for the past years the Muslim population of South Jersey has arranged to hold Eid Namaaz at the Woodbine. My thoughts are - I think we can do MUCH BETTER! We deserve much better; such a special occassion should occur in a nicer venue, not at some place that's advertised on South Jersey's radio stations for having the best late night parties with dollar drinks and what not. I don't think that such a place is very appropriate to book for a religious holiday. I couldn't stand how poorly organized it was - there wasn't enough space to walk or to find a spot to pray; and there were piles of shoes near where the women were praying - how disgracefully disappointing !!
I think we can do a better job of organizing a better arrangment at a better location and venue - i.e. a hall at a Hilton, Marriott, etc. Please offer any advice you may all have and maybe, Inshallah we can accomplish something for next Eid.

Thanks :)
A hall at the Marriott/Sheraton sounds nice. I would venture to guess that its held at the Woodbine because the Woodbine probably doesnt charge much.
