Just finished "To Kill a Mocking Bird". What a performance by Gregory Peck. Absolutely incredible movie.

Just watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Great movie, its ironic that the storyline from that movie could still be applicable today.

Shichinin no Samurai! I have heard only good things.

Perhaps it is about time I watch it.

I am not sure if someone has had a chance to watch "Seven Samurai" but it's a good one. Although I have to admit that I watched as part of a course #:

absloutely true Rebecca was truly an amazing thriller by Alfred Hitchcock. I also loved the Birds!

I am sure that many other cities around the US have an open air free movie affair every now and then but in Houston they are showing "From here to Eternity" with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr. I guess if I don't get a chance to watch it, I will put in on my list. P:

A Raisin in the sun... is probably Sidney P. best movies. Its a beautiful classic... must watch.

Citizen Kane ... not a huge fan of it but yes it was good to see for once...!

Has anyone had a chance to watch "A raisin in the sun" with Sidney Poitier. I heard it was a great movie. Another movie that I am hoping to watch is Citizen Kane. Not sure what I feel after Peter kind of ruined it for all the Family guy lovers (but it was worth it) who wanted to watch it.

Just a word of warning on "Duel". Don't expect too much dialogue.

That is a brilliant movie.

Also, have you watched 12 Angry Men. There is some great camera work in that too.

The Third Man (1949), is one of the films I would like 2 recommend to all of you... I mean it is a great film the tilted camera angles...gothic look, closeups... and suspense.. its a great film!

Divani I would have to agree with you on this... I am always like to watch movies depending on my mood.. I really enjoy watching old films and then comparing them to the new ones to see how the industry evolved over time...
