Other Tips

~ For a refreshing sleep, drink a mug of hot milk with a spoon of honey in it before going to bed.

~ For deep cleansing and acne, mix honey with oatmeal in equal proportions till you get a thick mixture. Apply it as a face-pack, leave on for half an hour and then wash off.

Whenever you oil your air, warm your oil a wee bit. Massage your scalp in an anti-clockwise direction. In between, dip your towel into hot water and wrap it around your head and apply slight pressure. Switch off the air condition and the fan while doing this for maximum effect.

Alternatively, mix honey with an equal quantity of olive oil and wrap your head with a warm towel for half an hour. Rinse with shampoo.

~For cracks on your heels - add a little boric powder, a little shampoo and a little glycerine or almond oil to a basin of reasonably hot water. Dip your feet in for ten to fifteen minutes. Then scrub with a rubber or sandpaper scrubber. Avoid using the metal scrubber.

~ For falling hair, try a combination of equal quantities of castor oil, coconut milk, and almond or olive oil.

Thanks for sharing - It's great to see others posting information on natural skin care!

A word of caution about honey, though! Do test it out first....many people (myself included!) find honey to irritate/burn their skin.

Another great alternative to milk and honey is having a warm cup of water with about one to two teaspoons of both honey and apple cider vinegar in it - You'll sleep like a baby!
