Abt Egypt, i heard that the problem affects especially young brides aged 14 to 16 from poor background. Seemingly, it has become a huge business bcse wealthy men from the Gulf offer substantial sum of money to poor families. These families do not turn the offer down! The other women are from the middle class. A small number of them are forced to marry their cousins. Nowadays and prior to marriage more and more young women are given the right and time to choose their fiancee. For your information, if you're a Premium member you can contact everyone. If you aren't you can only contact your circle of friends.
Concerning committment, i admit that Egyptians commit to their partners more than Italians, whom i witnessed when i was in Italy, and Americans, whom i belong to. i really don't know if this committment is something religious or just related to traditions of Egypt.
I'd like to hear from you about your ideas regarding Egyptian partners and committment as you said earlier that you visited Egypt. I will tell you about marital relationships in Israel when i go there in 2009.
Finally, i tried to email you from the website or add you as a friend but i failed.
Best regards;
