Ek Shakhs
When it comes to ghazals, Amjad Islam Amjad's poetry is mediocre but when it comes to nazms, he is great.
I love this one because it is short and sweet, simple, easy and yet it has a certain class of affection attached to it.

Nah gila nah shikayataiN karay
Ek aisa shakhs huwa karay
Jo mere liye he saja karay
Bus mujh se baataiN kya karay
Kabhi roye jaye bepanaah
Kabhi betahasha udaas ho
Kabhi chupke chupke dab-e-qadam
Mere peechay aa ke haNsa karay
Meri qurbatiN meri chahataiN
Woh rakhay yaad qadam qadam
MeiN taweel-e-safar meiN huN agar
Meri wapasi ki dua karay
