My friend Anwar showed up, we ended up eating biryani, drinking apple sidra, smoking sheesha, and playing Rayman on the Nintendo Wii till midnight...

I go to the foundation fo Eid namaz....Its nice, reminds me of home...though u do feel a bit like an outsider if you dont know anyone else...but i think that's true everywhere...even at BMF...though perhaps i'm just unusually quiet :) Nice thing about the foundation boston girl is the after namaz brunch, yum! Usually it is a bit of hike out there, but if i remember correctly from last year, the morning of the first is the ONLY time when I have NOT encountered traffic on 76.

I have never been to foundation... I tend to stay in the city, though, as we have more than a few mosques around here (like over 30). :)

BMF mosque on 58th and Overbrook. www.bmf.org

Eid will be celebrated there on Sunday, insha'Allah.
ICPA mosque on 45th and Walnut will be doing it tomorrow (saturday), insha'Allah. They use a different Qibla, but seem to be a nice bunch.

Are you doing anything for Eid dinner? If you don't have anything planned my wife Rabia and I are having folks over. We live right near Penn campus.
