Egyptian, UAE, and/or Iranian Attorneys
Salaams,
I need to interview an attorney who is familiar with the professional codes of regulations in any or all of the following countries Egypt, Iran and the UAE. If you know of how I can obtain an English version of this material that would be immensely helpful as well.
The questions I need answered are:
1. By whom are domestic lawyers regulated?
2. How can I get a copy of those regulations?
3. What kind of training does one have before one becomes a lawyer? In terms of law school, apprenticeship, etc?
3. Is there an ethics code and how can I get a copy 4. What are lawyers permitted to do? Do they have a monopoly or can non-lawyers do the same thing?
5. Are foreign lawyers allowed and if so, what are the regulations?
6. What is law practice like? Are there mostly big firms? small firms? Is there someplace I can obtain data on how lawyers practice, similar to the way the ABA or NALP posts that data?
Send me an email on Naseeb if you can help.
