brother inspi, just fyi as to how wrong the rest of us have been, i'm pasting my picks from the two playoff rounds below with the actual game scores in parenthesis :P

"Cholts" 31 -- Chiefs 28 (23-8)
Seahawks 30 -- Cowboys 28 (21-20)
Pats 31 -- Jets 13 (37-16)
Eagles 28 -- Giants 21 (23-20)

27-24 NO over PHI (27-24)
26-20 CHI over SEA (27-24)
24-16 BAL over IND (6-15)
23-21 NE over SD (24-21)

and there were some others who also made pretty darn good predictions...

Good idea! Next season, all the regulars will make picks...........AGAINST THE SPREAD! Then we'll see who the real geniuses are! Anyone can pick a 50/50 straight up winner. The spread makes it a real challenge!

too many predictions being made in too many different journals... it would've been manageable if we had one journal per week for picks alone (i.e. picks for maybe 3 or 4 of the best games from each week) and the author kept updating the journal DETAILS section with people's picks periodically -- not having to go back 30 frickin pages to look for picks...
and then maybe one separate "cumulative standings" journal for the season, i.e. just weekly update everyone's cumulative score for the season in that one journal by looking at the "weekly picks" journal's details section...
too late for this season, but not a bad idea for next yr, huh?? it'll be a fun competition (a substitute for fantasy football here), and will (hopefully) prompt people to make more knowledgeable predictions than just throw picks out of nowhere...

So how is every one doing so far in picks.. I was 3-1 in wildcards and 4-0 last week .. will be 2-0 next week with Bears and Pats win ! :P

Lets face it. Not much of a difference between the colt and Saints defense. They both suck and can play well at any given time. One things for sure, the Saints have not played an offense aas good as the colts and if the saints offense ever played the saints defense one on one, saints offense will destroy the saints defense. Colt offense is probably better than the Saints offense one would think.

Not doubting that all. Just saying that Addai was pretty impressive this season. Led all rookies in rushing. Whomever said he's not a Super Bowl running back must not have watched his 4 td, 200 yard performance on Sunday night Football back in week 12. Besides, its all on Manning, not Addai if the colts are gonna win the Super Bowl.

i was just putting things in perspective... even IF Addai gets 100 in the first half, Deuce and bush would definitely have more... unless Brees had like 250 in that half passing...

Come on bro. I like the Saints but lets be for real. Their defense is average at best and against a stud o-line like the colts, Addai gets THE BIG EASY hundred. Possibly at the half!

yeah, plus Addai is no Super Bowl running back. Manning has carried the team this year, but I don't know how long he can do so. He could take a salary cut and sign with the Ravens, although Billick will probably mess his career up as well.

If I was Payton Manning, I would take a massive salary cut with the explicit written conditions that ALL of the money be spent on defense.
Only way Indi is EVER gonna win the championship is with a defense.
