What: Quran, Proactivity, and Activism
When: Saturday, May 12, 6:00 PM
Where: Hunter College (see below)
Event Description: Please join us this Sat May 12th for a discussion on the Quran, Proactivity, and Activism!
Sultan will open the discussion with a brief reflection on the relevance of Quranic verse 13:11 with respect to this topic:
Verily, God does not change people?s condition unless they change their inner selves (13:11)
We will then move to an open discussion. Please come and share your thoughts on this topic as well as possible ideas for projects that embody the principle.

Directions to Hunter East Building:
Take the 6 train to 68th Street/Hunter College. The East Building is on the SE corner (by the flower shop). Take the escalator up (toward the library) and then bear a slight left to the elevator bank. Take the elevator to the 8th floor.
If that entrance is locked. Please enter across the street through the West building. Take the escalator up to the third floor. Walk across the pedestrian bridge and proceed to the elevator bank.
Meeting is in Conference Room 819.
