Today, the Danish state prosecutor's office refused to charge politicians from the right wing Danish People's Party www.danskfolkeparti.dk for comments where they among other things, compared the hijab to the Nazi swastika.
The refusal by the state prosecutor to charge the politicians for racist comments was based on politicians purportedly having an expanded freedom of expression compared to the public as a whole.
