curling iron? curlers?

Hi.

I have stubbornly straight, medium (not fine or coarse) hair and I want to be able to easily add some curls or waves sometimes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for curling irons? Specifically: width, brand, type, etc

Curlers? Which type do you recommend?

I lack all hair styling skills and have very little patience with my hair. So, I need "hair appliances/tools for dummies".

i swear by hot rollers...get any large/medium size ones that are covered in 'velvet'....dont go for the plain plastic ones, they never work.....i havent tried any that require water to heat, but some people like them

i just bought some quick heat travel rollers by Remington...they seem to be working good and are dual voltage, so i can use them anywhere in the world
