Concrete Example of Critical Pedagogy in the Classroom??

i am looking for any practical examples of applying critical pedagogy in a real classroom situation - it seems to me that in theory critical pedagogy is a good thing but it cant be applied in real situations to do it any justice - it seems to me that it would be nearly impossible to apply it with the spirit of critical pedagogy taken seriously .... i am researching any real classroom or programmatic examples of where critical pedagogy has been applied - can you help with any articles or links ....thanks

i have read "pedagogy of the oppressed" what i am interested in knowing is that the folks who popularized Friere's ideas in america namely Henry Giroux and Peter Mclearan the folks who brought us critical pedagogy sounds good in theory but does it work in practice -- that is does their own praxis bear out the fruit of the kinds of changes they aspire to.. i see critical pedagogy doesnt work on the ground to bring about systemic change and i was asking if anyone had any concrete examples of it making any change in western industrial contexts....
