Coming to New York


My friend and I are coming to New York City to celebrate holidays and New Year. We will be going to the ball drop extravaganza, but we wanted some tips of what else we can do there. Both of us are into dancing, dinning out, shopping, and you stuff most girls would like to do.

I am also starting my master degree at NYU in the winter semester so I am looking to make some local friends to show me around.

What are you waiting for? Let me in on the BIG APPLE?. Very excited!!!!!!

sincere advice: do whatever else in the world, or in the worst case scenario, sit at home or hotel, whatever the case may be, but do NOT go to the ball drop in times square. there's nothing classy about it. it's an atmosphere of a mad house with whole lot of drunk people.
my sister and a few friends were visiting from london a few years back and insisted to go. i tried getting them out of it but they wouldn't listen. 20 mins after we get there, they all wanted to get away! upto you but i wanted to let you know.
have tons of fun during your stay and well wishes for your education endeavor. god bless.

p.s. if you tell me what type of food you like, i can give my opinion for the relevant best places.
