Join the new CAMP team in celebrating our third year in Montreal with the motivating words and inspiring experiences of some of the city's
most prominent Muslim professionals.

Speakers include Qutybah Hamid, M.D. Ph.D.; Ibrahim Kreps, M.D.;
Farida Cheriet, Ph.D.; Sarah El Ghazzar; Omar Hayat

Proceeds for the event will go to Amal center for Muslim Women.

Guest Speakers Information:

Dr. Ibrahim Kreps is a renowned Psychiatrist and author from Montreal. Of Jewish heritage, he converted to Islam from Buddhism in his late
twenties. Ever since, he strived to become closer to Allah while maintaining a full-time medical practice, writing his exceptional
books, being a loving husband and full-time father of three, and teaching. His most recent work "Snakes and Ladders: Aphorisms for
Modern Living" is a valuable asset in every home.

Dr. Farida Cheriet has been an Associate Professor at the ?cole Polytechnique since June 1999. She is also a member of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Research Center and a regular member of the
Institut de G?nie Biom?dical. In addition to utilizing cutting edge technology in medical imaging research working on 3D reconstruction
and modeling of anatomical structures, she is also a prominent Muslim in the community and a full-time mother.

Dr. Qutayba Hamid is the Associate Director of the Meakins-Christie Laboratories and a Professor of Medicine at McGill University. Earning an M.D. degree followed by a Ph.D., Dr. Hamid has been on the forfront of research in Inflammation and Asthma with many publications in the field. He won numerous awards and organized many international conferences including the International meeting on Asthma and COPD.

Sarah El Ghazzar finished her degree in Psychology from McGill University. She was active member of the MSA, and upon graduation she took the position of official spokesperson for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) - Canada. Since then she appeared many times in the media representing Muslims and challenging stereotypes. Her unique style has won her many allies in the Public Relations domain.

Omar Hayat finished his degree from the Faculty of Management of McGill University. He later became an employee of Investors' Group and
pioneered with the help of renowned scholars on Islamic financing and expert financiers one of the first investment schemes that take into consideration Islamic restrictions on investment. He has since promoted this scheme and manages the investments of many in the Montreal community amounting to a few million dollars.
