See video regarding torture of Haseeb, someone who was in a mental institution bc of simply a learning disability, but was beaten by a caretaker and is now paralyzed. They say they cannot take action against the institution b/c it is state sponsored and is has 'sovereignity'. According to Jeanine the prosecuter in this video, it seems to suggest we should appeal to Gov Rick Perry, to assist this family, and allow the legislature to waive immunity and give them the right to sue, and take Haseeb out of the mental institution where he was tortured and financially support them.
