No, but I may have people coming in December. I have no clue where the good stuff is since I've worked here and looked for a job here only:)
There's the aquarium, I think an MIT museum, the harbor and thats all I can think of at the moment. We wont' care for shopping too much and unfortunately Boston's halal selection of restaurans does stink;( I think I will try to impress them with my cooking (or lack thereof).

I think she already came and left Boston. She was supposed to come over the weekend which is gone.

Filene's is gone, but it's basement is still there. Even the upstairs of Filene's still has clearance stuff.

Also, it is probably not a great idea to use a car in Boston. You are better off using "the T". You can sometimes get visitor passes for a few days at a time. Google "MBTA" for more info.

And if you are into shopping, check out Filene's Basement at Downtown Crossing -- it is a Boston shopping landmark.

Good tips guys. I second both of those.

There are plenty of museums if the weather is bad...or even otherwise. You can visit the Aquarium by the Wharf. There is the Museum of Fine Arts on Huntington Ave. And there is the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum near the MFA.

Check out the North End for authentic Italian cuisine.

If you like the theater then you can grab (same day) half-price tickets at BosTix -- either at Faneuil Hall or Copley Square.

I recommend having brunch on Newbury Street (at Stephanie's or at Sonsie).

Beacon Hill is also worth wandering around -- very quaint, cobblestone streets, etc. The Beacon Hill Bistro is a good place for either brunch or dinner.

But for food on the cheap check out The Upper Crust.

I'm sure you can just google all this stuff to find it.

Duck Tours are quite popular. You can see the popular touristy parts of Boston and then the tour bus goes into the Harbor to give you a tour. Thats why its called a Duck tour since it goes into the water.
But get your ticket early bc they get booked. You get them from the Prudential or the Science Museum. Just go in the morning and get your ticket or call if you can.

For shopping, Newbury Street has nice upscale boutiques and is nice for window shopping. Downtown Crossing is popular for shopping. Its like an outdoor mall. Filene's Basement is popular. You get discounted items there. If you look hard enough, you can find nice things for good prices.

There is a theatre district but not sure what they are showing, but you can probably get better shows on Broadway.

There is a bhangra competition in Boston on Saturday but that has already sold out.

As for eating, what kind of food do you like?
Theres not as many choices for Halal restaurants as there are in NY so that might be a limiting factor.
