I came to this journal to act on my intention to leave this village. I feel that anyone who wishes to learn can and will come here - insha-Allah- and learn from the knowledge already contained herein. But my presence is precious, and I desire to keep my villages at 19. So I hope it is not seen as a sign of my giving up in my departure from this village. Well the unfortunate truth might seem offensive, so few say it, and even then seldom. The medical establishment is a business model, worth more than you or I have the capacity to figure out. You may have seen this yourself: the profession - as it is taught - is more interested in being profitable, and retaining long-term clients, than fixing people once and for all, where there is no more profit. So you never hear about the benefits of NaCO3 (Soduim BiCarbonate, yes, Baking Soda) nor do you hear about Black Seed Oil, a favorite and strong sunnah of our beloved Prophet (Peace and Blessings upon him and his.) You also do not hear about gargling with hot salt-water, which any Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, or muslim child knows.

The fact of the matter is that the establishment pushes drugs that are unnecessary, often detremental, and older drugs which work perfectly well, but are out of copyright (like Asprin, for God's sake!) are phased out with newer concoctions introduced, in order to keep the prescription and trademark dollars flowing. They simply wouldn't want you to know anything that completely eliminates the need for a doctor - their doctor - prescribing their drug. Tell me you have heard of this, sister, and I'll bow in agreement with an honest muslimah. If you haven't, then I'll ask you, as your brother in Islam, to keep your eyes and ears open. You'll see what's obvious sooner or later.
