Finally, decided to leave this tiny city for a big one...it will take time though...since i've still got unfinished business
maybe by september of this year...... if I manage to survive the boredom for another 7 mmonths

I know...i love montreal too...There's something about the marriage of multiculturism and the french language that i find irresistable

u should move to a big city so u can experience it - i personally love big cities - the whole energy of it - can't see myself in a small town!
move!move!move! cos it's more challenging and a vital experience u should indulge in!

As someone who spent 4 years living in smaller cities after finishing grad school,

Pros (living in a small city):
People more welcoming, friendly
Less stereotyping
Cheaper
No traffic jams - can become a huge quality of life issue for suburban living

Cons
Less multiculturalism
A bit boring
Cant find halal food (depending on how picky you are)
Usually only 2 clubs in town filled with underage kids!
Less opportunites -both for jobs and interests outside of your job

Overall i think while the experience of living in a small city is great, i don't think i'd wanna move back again, though i'm still not sure if i'd prefer Toronto over Motnreal...might be heresy to say that in this village!

I LOVE toronto!!!

Such a beautiful, cosmopolitan city!

The only con I can think of is rush hour traffic.
