The words Islam, Muslim and Salaam are derived from the root word Salima, which comprises the meanings/concepts of being safe and sound, unharmed, secure; blameless, to be certain; to protect from harm, to preserve; to surrender, submit; to greet, salute; to keep the peace, make one's peace, and so on.
Muslim is an honorary title conferred upon all sincere believers by Allah SWT, all the Prophets (pbut) and their real followers are blessed with being Muslims.
The completeness and perfection of peace is made spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally manifest by the true believer, who finds within him/herself the ability, desire and inspiration to submit to the All-Encompassing Will of The Creator.
