Bears - Clinch division, home field, & 1st round bye. What's next?
Well the Bears have done well to this point, but they have weaknesses and there are doubts about how they'll do in the playoffs.
They had a relatively easy regular season against mostly weak opponents. Honestly, the only legitimately decent team they faced was New England, and we lost that one.
The rest of the NFC teams who made the playoffs look weak. The only teams I think might challenge the Bears would be New Orleans and maybe Philly.
My prediction is that the Bears make it to the Super Bowl but come up short against either San Diego or Baltimore.
Don't get me wrong - I'm rooting for the Bears to go all the way. But unless the defense gets back to form and Grossman gets consistantly good, I don't see a Lombardi trophy in our future.
Any thoughts?
