PD, I agree. And will join if invited. However, and not sure if I made a public announcement on that, I do not organize events for naseebers anymore. I am still listed as the organizer and am willing to help out (as I did help Nena), but that's about it.

If NYC Arabic club does decide on a joint event, it will be posted here ASAP.

Sonu2-meticulous planning,as you state, is really not necessary. Some planning however is needed-I found that most people who respond "yes, I will come", do not show up at all or cancel in the last minute, or show up extremely late. I believe Baltinena had a very good skill of getting everyone together at the right place at the right time. Let's see if there's another volunteer here who could do the same.

without meticulous planning, you will get a lopsided get together. too many guys, or too many girls in a group.

We do have meet from time to time, but usually have a head organizer for these events (dinners, bowling etc). She is not in twon and our activities hence, have diminished.

It'll be great to gather a group and do something. You have my vote.

Since I help out at the NYC Arabic Language club, I was thinking of doing a joint event, but I do not think it'll be possible for me to organize it untill sometime in January when I am not that busy with school.
