i heard a bit about Frantz Fanon - he is looking at colonization through the lens of psychoanalysis
and thought
is Israel's practise treatment today of Palestinians a warped subliminal catharsis of legitimization for Colonial genocide in the America's in its support for Israel's policies today the Neo-Con looks back upon its own history of 'dealing' with indigenous peoples upon first contact - by supporting this today it legitimizes its own methods & ownership of the land & resources etc

Fanon was born there in 1925. However, his revolutionary ambitions were cut short by leukemia
and he died in 1961 at the age of 36.
Frantz Fanon had by the time of his death amassed a body of critical work that today establishes his position as a Leading Theoretician of (among other issues)
- Black Consciousness and Identity,
- Nationalism and its failings,
- Colonial Rules and
- The inherently "violent" task of Decolonization,
- Language ( French & kreole officila language of his native island).
He used is critical work as an index of power, miscegenation and the objectification of the performative black body.
Fanon has a great popularity and influence on more recent Post-Colonial Readings of Black Liberation and Nationalism.
He was a member of the Movement for Algeria
His self-determination in the 1950's has also shaped diverse career as a Political Activist and Critic.
Fanon fought with the Allied Forces against Nazi Germany in Europe during the second World War and afterwards studied Psychiatry in France.
