I have muslim friends and discuss about islam, interpretation of hadiths with them most of the time. If you never discussed with a muslim and never met a person who said us, the Ummah...you met one on Naseeb: Me. You are more than Welcome to discuss !

As a muslim you can discuss all legal islamic activities and matters ranging from women, men, children rights, love, respect... family issues: marriage, separation, divorce, dress code, tradition, child upbringing/ education, career, Prophetic hadiths food, protection of our environment...etc

To upkeep the Ummah, lots of work lay on the shoulders of the third generation of muslims. We (are amongst those who are in their 20s/30s) are the third generations of Muslims. Insha'allah one day or another we'll begin to build families and have children.

You give me lot to thing. It's a good question.
Has Muslim in France have the feeling to be a Hummah ?
My first answer was no.
I have thing a lot after that. To confess, I don't come from a Muslim family. I have thinked that I have this opinion because I live with very few Muslims link in my day life.

I have Muslim friends but we never discuss about Islamic things because there are my friends first :)
and I never dicuss with a Muslim who spoke about the Ummah.

I never meet a person who said to me "us, as a Hummah, we need to promote child rigths, woman rigths, the protection of the environment"
No, It was more "as a Muslim I think that I must be involve in a fair change of the world".
It's good but it's not the same thing.
If you want my opinion. I want that a Ummah exist.
I could be the best thing but first, I think there is lot of work on us to do.

Here, in France, I don't think so.
I think what we could call a Hummah is in contruction.
I don't think that Muslims, here, think yet that there are a Hummah.
I think or perhaps I could say I believe that this Ummah has lot of good things to bring to my western society.
That there is a lack of unity. I agree.
But, I believe that Muslim kindness must to be share outside the Ummah.

For each Muslim, finding inner peace is essential. Be at peace with ourself is fundamental. However, there is a reality and unanswered questions. The Ummah is in a state of deterioration and there is a significant lack of unity amongst Muslims. Will the Ummah achieve Peace?

I'm for Peace. It's pretty sure.
But how coul we find this Peace ?
I think there are different kind of peace.
i'm pretty sure that you think that your inside peace is the first step before a better state of the world.
